Spring Clean Scotland 2027
Spring Clean Scotland 2027
Join us for our interactive Live Lessons and associated resources, inspiring you and your pupils to take part in our annual Spring Clean Scotland Campaign and join the fight against litter and waste!
This year we are kickstarting our litter picking challenge at the start of March to give you lots of time to help us by collecting as much litter as possible and contributing to citizen science.
All lessons are curricular linked with follow up resources to take learning further.
Our Live Lesson programme is funded by the Scottish Government.
As our Live Lessons are recorded and distributed online, cameras and microphones will be disabled for attendees. Due to this, our lessons require facilitation by educators within the classroom to ensure pupils can take part in our interactive activities.
Our lessons support the Curriculum, Campus, Community and Culture aspects of the Target 2030 Learning for Sustainability Action Plan as well as Global Citizenship and Meta Skills.

Challenge for the week: Collective Litter Pick
We invite schools and nurseries from across the country to work together to spring clean our beautiful Scotland. Organise as many litter picks as you can between 1 and 22 March. Submit how much litter you collect to contribute to citizen science. All schools and nurseries who submit their litter pick data will be named in our Spring Clean Scotland Assembly on 22 March and will receive a free resource to make an upcycled 'I've helped to Spring Clean Scotland' badge.
The challenge will be launched on Monday 1 March.
Only by working together can we have the biggest impact!
Live Lessons and Eco-Schools
Don't forget that taking part in any of our Live Lessons and the associated activities can be counted towards an Eco-Schools Scotland Green Flag Award.
