Certified establishments

41 tourism establishments across Scotland have achieved Green Key certification.

Since 1994, the Green Key Certificate has been a leading standard of excellence in environmental responsibility and sustainable operation within the tourism industry. We are the the national operator for the certification programme in Scotland, which is licensed globally by the Foundation for Environmental Education.

We are delighted that hotels, attractions and a holiday park in Scotland have shown commitment to the Green Key programme and met all the criteria required for their certification. You can find out more about the Green Key criteria here.

In addition, we are delighted to share some examples of practical and innovative ways that applicants have improved the sustainability of their operations.

We congratulate all tourism establishments across Scotland receiving Green Key certification and look forward to supporting them to achieve continued environmental improvements, that can also result in financial savings. We have a highly skilled team of staff available to assist Green Key applicants with both technical support and advice and encourage you to get in touch today to start your sustainability journey
