Celebrate

Timed with the end of the school year, our Eco-Schools Celebration Week recognises the work of thousands of schools and nurseries going above and beyond for our planet, looking after the environment and their communities with a special live assembly.

This year, our Eco-Schools Celebration Week took place from 9 to 13 June 2025.

2025 was extra special as we celebrated 30 years of Eco-Schools with visits to exceptional schools and nurseries and some exciting challenges.

To finish our year of celebrations, we were joined by our friends in Germany, Wales and Northern Ireland, for a fantastic celebration assembly across nations! You can find the recording of the assembly below.

We would like you to feel part of this big and very special community.  Thank you to our friends Deutsche Gesellschaft für Umwelterziehun, Keep Wales Tidy and Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful for celebrating with us.
