Pocket Garden and Garden for Life

For over 10 years, the Garden for Life Forum has been working in partnership with Keep Scotland Beautiful on their annual Pocket Garden Design Competition.

Pupils aged 3 - 18 are invited to design a pocket-sized garden which includes includes plants that people can eat, plants and features that attract wildlife, and that reuses something which would otherwise have been thrown away. Garden for Life mentors provide valuable support.

Schools who send in the winning designs are then invited to build, grow and photograph their gardens to display in an online showcase.  Taking part in Pocket Garden can support schools Eco-Schools work and Green Flag application.
