Photo Campaign

Photo Campaign

A Photo Campaign has a clear call to action on an environmental issue.

Your photograph must be original, but it can be staged and include alterations, AI or text to reinforce your message.   A good example of a Photo Campaign is bus shelter artwork, billboards, or social media campaigns. Have a look at some of our previous campaigns for inspiration.

Criteria

  • Your photo should be original but can be staged to reinforce your message.
  • Send your photo in .JPG format with a resolution > 150-300 dpi.
  • Please give your photo a title (max 140 characters).
  • Include a description of no more than 100 words that explains your environmental message.
  • Your photo can be edited, including AI alterations and text, but your entry must not be wholly created in AI.
  • Quotes and statistics used must be from real and credible sources. Please cite these sources.
  • Tell us three places you have shared your photo (e.g. social media or in a display).

2026 Theme: Food Security & Climate Change

Our 2026 theme is a great fit for the Photo Campaign category. Use this resource to create a multicoloured meal palette celebrating the power of nutritious, local ingredients. Explore how a plate full of naturally, colourful food not only nourishes your body but also supports the health of our planet. Photograph your plate, and tell the story of your meal in a short paragraph. Let your creation show how every bite can make a difference. Download the Palette of Plenty activity.
