  • You can choose any language you like, but please include English subtitles.

This film was produced as part of the Youth Climate Film Project (YCFP) and submitted as an entry to the 'Vision for Future' category.

Young people from Isaro Community Initiative share three actions we can take to help keep global warming within 1.5c and tackle climate change.

This film was produced as part of the Youth Climate Film Project as an entry to the 'Consumption' category. It received Special Commendation for focus on young people's sense of agency and accessibility through the use of multi-lingual captions.

Battlefield Against Hunger - Battlefield Primary School

Pupils from Battlefield Primary School's Always Thinking About Others team discuss ways everyone can help to eliminate poverty. Features Goal 1: No Poverty and Goal 2: Zero Hunger.

Crisp Packet on the Loose - Cairneyhill Primary School

This film is all about littering and what effect it has on the environment. Since this is a big problem in the school's area pupils felt that reducing litter would have a big effect on our local environment and wildlife. They said: "We live in a beautiful village which is losing its beauty due to the amount of careless litter dropping. We want to highlight the issue so everyone in our local community takes action".

A Problem With Pollution - Cuthbertson Primary School

Pupils said: "Air pollution is a big problem in our area. We can see it when we are playing in our playground. We can smell it when we eat our lunch. We can see it on our dirty windows. We are trying to improve health and wellbeing in our school lessons. the head teacher is trying to improve health and wellbeing across the school. But we need to improve our health outside too".

After seeing Blue Planet 2 and then having the opportunity to pick an environmental topic to research, these S1 pupils selected marine pollution, including single-use plastics. Features Goal 12 - Responsible Production & Consumption and Goal 14 - Live Below Water.

Examines the issue of palm oil harvesting, inequalities and destruction of wildlife habitats for Orangutans. Features Goal 12 - Responsible Production & Consumption and Goal 15 - Life on Land.

Waging the War on Plastic Pollution - Keir Hardie Memorial Primary School

The pupil voice group at Keir Hardie Memorial Primary School learned about the ways in which plastic is polluting our oceans. They wanted to find out how our actions are having an effect on the environment. After a Young Reporters Scotland workshop they were inspired to find out more about Goal 14 and how life below water is being affected by plastic pollution.

Not All Hope is Lost - Kemnay Academy

This video focuses on the 3Ps - Plastic, Pollution and Palm Oil. Pupils chose these points because they are issues everyone can do something about. Pupils have been learning about these issues in interdisciplinary learning classes in school.
