🌿What was your favourite part of creating your garden?

Planting and building the garden were our favourite parts because we used recycled resources that probably wouldn't get used again.

🌿Did you face any challenges and how did you respond to them?

The greenhouse blowing away in the Easter holidays taking all our plants with it and having to start again was very challenging. We rescued the few that survived and planted some more. We were lucky that our mentor brought us some plants too!

🌿What did you learn whilst creating your garden?

Learning how to grow and look after plants. Working together as a team and dealing with the Scottish weather!

🌿Did you have any links with your local community or a Pocket Garden mentor whilst creating your garden?

Our mentor helped us with plants after ours blew away in the wind and we had some planting support from our local garden centre who gave us some seeds.

🌿What will happen to your garden after the competition has finished?

We plan to leave our pocket garden in our newly formed school garden area for future years to continue to benefit from.
