🌿What was your favourite part of creating your garden?

We enjoyed drawing, designing and making the garden, and learning all about vegetables and plants that can feed us as well as our wildlife.

🌿Did you face any challenges and how did you respond to them?

Our purple sprouting broccoli has been eaten more than once by our resident pigeons, and some areas have been a challenge to water as they are located under others, but we have focussed our watering (which also saves water) and have decided that the pigeons and birds need to eat too so they are welcome!

🌿What did you learn whilst creating your garden?

We learned the value of water, and how to grow plants and vegetables in a small space.

🌿What will happen to your garden after the competition has finished?

Our pocket garden will stay permanently on site for our children to keep looking after and learning from. We have a very large outdoor space to work with, so will be making more pocket gardens!
