Our training
Our training helps businesses, educators and young people, organisations and individuals across Scotland to understand the climate, nature and litter emergencies and respond to the risks, responsibilities and opportunities ahead.
We’re an experienced training organisation, bringing our expertise and partners together to provide the exceptional support you need to understand and respond to the environmental challenges and significant opportunities ahead of us.
Over the past three decades we’ve provided training, workshops and support sessions to hundreds of organisations, from big businesses like Scottish Power and VisitScotland to small sole traders, local authorities across the country and community groups, educators, young people and individuals.
We offer a variety of levels of training, from short introductory sessions through to advanced accredited courses, so we can support you whatever the stage of your sustainability journey. Plus, we provide a variety of certification for our training, helping to recognise and celebrate your achievements.
Our training is always tailored to the Scottish context, and often we work with clients to ensure it is bespoke and relevant to their context, priorities and audiences.
We are the official partner in Scotland for the award-winning Carbon Literacy Project, the only Carbon Literate Training Organisation in Scotland, and the only Scottish organisation to have attained Platinum Carbon Literate Organisation status. We hold SQA Centre Status and provide training courses that carry SCQF credits.

We receive overwhelmingly positive feedback from participants because we cut through the jargon, emphasise hope over despair, and work hard to make our content engaging, informative and topical content.
As an environmental charity, we invest income from training back into our activities helping make Scotland clean, green and sustainable. Working with us can help any organisation enhance its environmental and social sustainability and this is key differentiator for you to consider when choosing your training provider.
Liked that [Climate Ready Classrooms for Primary] taught us something that is important to the world, and that change needs to happen now. Gave us the tools to solve the climate change problems in our school.
