Intergenerational National Network welcomed to our Stirling Hub
01 April 2026
We hosted 20 members of the Intergenerational National Network in our Stirling Hub, and online, on 1 April to share experiences and develop future plans.
The meeting provided us with an opportunity to share information about Our Heritage, Our Future and the Climate and Nature Friendly Communities Network and explore with members how we can collaborate more closely in the future to overcome challenges and maximise opportunities for all generations.
The Network, run by Pat Scrutton and celebrating its 20th anniversary next year, is made up of members from the statutory and voluntary sectors, from academia, and beyond, who work with communities and all have an interest in intergenerational and multigenerational working practices.
During the meeting we were delighted to hear from environmental storyteller Allison Galbraith, who we have also enjoyed working with through our Climate Action Schools live lessons where she has broadcast some of her stories to thousands of children alongside us.
Helena Fox, Our Heritage, Our Future Project Officer commented, “We love hosting people in our Stirling Hub, there is something really inspiring about getting people together face-to-face to really delve into the topics we all have a common interest in.
“As a Network member it was a great opportunity to host others, share more about Keep Scotland Beautiful and our objectives, programmes and activities and highlight our own intergenerational work which connects with others across sectors.”
