Our new ambassador Laura Young

We're delighted to announce Laura Young as our newest charity ambassador.

An award-winning climate activist, environmental scientist and ethical influencer, Laura was awarded the overall Scottish Influencer of the Year for 2024 for work advocating for climate and environmental justice online – particularly on the campaign to bring about a ban on single-use vapes in the UK, which we were proud to support with our data.

In recent years she has contributed to our National Conversations and has been a keen supporter of #SpringCleanScotland.

Barry Fisher, our Chief Executive, said: "Laura has been such a brilliant supporter of our mission to keep Scotland beautiful for a number of years now, so I'm delighted she is joining us as an Ambassador.

"By working together I'm positive we will be able to reach even more people and new audiences and encourage them to get involved.

"Keep Scotland Beautiful is our charity's name, but it is also our mission. We're really looking forward to continuing our impactful work with Laura and thank her for her support and dedication to our ambitions."
