LfS and Nature Connection in Winter
Tuesday 17 November 2026 4.00-5.00pm
We know that getting outside in winter with pupils can be difficult, so join us for this training session where we will look at some of the barriers to getting pupils outside during the winter months and how we can overcome them. We will explore simple ways of getting your pupils outdoors and helping them connect to nature, even in the depths of winter, including resource ideas and tips for easier outdoor learning.

Becoming a Sustainable Setting
Thursday 25 February 2027 4.00-5.00pm
What is a sustainable setting and how can you become one? This training session will focus on answering these questions, with a focus on the Scottish Government's Target 2030 Action Plan. We will explore how participation in the Eco-Schools programme can support your setting to become sustainable in line with Target 2030, with positive impact on pupil voice and leadership.

Applying for Your Green Flag Award
Thursdays 29 April 2027 4.00-5.00pm
A discussion on what evidence is needed to apply for a Green Flag Award and the process of using our Online Application System to submit your evidence, with hints and tips to make the process as easy as possible.
