The 'Climate Emergency in under 60 minutes' webinars will help people learn what the Climate Emergency means for them and find out how they can take positive action. 

Anyone with ties to East Dunbartonshire (aged 18 or over*) is welcome to attend. People representing local organisations, communities and businesses are particularly encouraged to get involved.

The webinars will take place via Zoom and features a presentation by Keep Scotland Beautiful, plus a Q&A session. 

To join a webinar, you will need access to a laptop, computer, tablet, or smartphone and access to the internet. Zoom has a ‘help’ section if required.

We welcome questions via the Zoom text chat function, which we will review in the Q&A session. Please keep yourself on mute until the Q&A session.

Data Protection Act 2018

Keep Scotland Beautiful is delivering Climate Emergency Training (CET) as part of a contract with East Dunbartonshire Council (EDC). We will also be working in partnership with East Dunbartonshire Voluntary Action (EDVA). The CET is funded by the UK Government’s Shared Prosperity Fund. The CET includes a series of webinars.

We (Keep Scotland Beautiful) will hold information you provide us via Zoom in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018.

We will record the number of attendees at each Zoom webinar and will use this anonymised data:

-For monitoring and reporting.

-For purposes including marketing and promotion.

We have a contract with EDC to deliver CET and will share anonymised information on the number of attendees at each webinar with EDC, as they have a legitimate interest in the training.

We will not store personal information from the webinars, only anonymised information on the number of attendees.
