The Douglas Park Project

By renovating and maintaining Douglas Park - through their Adopt a Bed program, Plant a Bulb initiative, seed planting with the local nursery group, and holding events within the park, the group aim to bring the following to the community of Largs:

• Improved physical & mental well-being through activities such as gardening, exercise and other social activities
• A stronger community through the bringing of people together and the building of intergenerational relationships through the use of the park by many local organisations
• Educational opportunities through workshops eg gardening classes, guided walks, bee keeping, writing, art, etc)
