Bridge of Don and District Men's Shed

The project aims: To create a place where local residents and the wider community are able to come and feel part of a larger group, meet new people and further their social interaction. To bridge social isolation in the community specifically among retired and elderly people. To be inclusive to everyone, with no boundaries placed with respect to gender, age [must be over 18] race, religion, culture and disability. To promote well-being, equality, social inclusion, health and mental health awareness. To be a focal point for Community Development where they encourage members to further new skills through informal learning and involvement.
