In 2024, Branching Out Community Initiative was recognised by Keep Scotland Beautiful with a Runner Up Certificate of the Scottish level of the Community Engagement Award, one of five new RHS Community Awards.
The group is working towards creating their community garden into a safe peaceful space for all of the community. They provide free food events as well as just a food larder on site.
