New: Community Litter eLearning module

Explore the Litter Emergency with narrated content, engaging facts, imagery and videos, plus interactive exercises.

Our new Community Litter eLearning module will help you learn about littering issues in Scotland and how to investigate a first step to tackle litter in your community.

There are questions as you progress through the module, and you’ll get a certificate of achievement from us if you pass.

The module will take you approximately 90-minutes to two hours to complete.

For individuals

The eLearning module is available for individuals to book and pay online with instant access.

1. Setup a Moodle account here.

2. After logging into your account you can find the module "Community Litter eLearning module" at the top of your dashboard, select this to be able to pay for access to the module via PayPal. You'll then have instant access to the eLearning module.

Please note: Once your account is set up in Moodle, you will get an email to confirm your registration – please check your spam/junk folders in case it gets caught in there.

The eLearning module, should function correctly on a variety of devices and browsers, however, for maximum compatibility we recommend using a laptop or desktop computer with the latest version of Google Chrome or Firefox.

For businesses and organisations

We have various options so that your business or organisation can easily make our Community Litter eLearning module available for your staff.

With this option you get:

Access to the eLearning module via our Moodle platform.
Login details sent to your staff, who will have access to the module for one year.
Certificates for participants available for instant download for staff who pass the course
Quarterly reports to show the progress of your staff.

2. Hosted on your platform

With this option you get:

A file containing the eLearning content, which you can upload to your own platform.
Certificates sent by us quarterly to participants you indicate have passed the course.
Updates to the eLearning content as appropriate.
