Every workshop will be delivered through the medium of Gaelic and they are two hours in length. We’re always happy to deliver a workshop, you’ll find the information to share your interest at the bottom of the page.

Climate change and heritage workshop
In this workshop, you will get the opportunity to explore climate change, climate justice, and how heritage and rural communities are affected.

Litter and Waste
In this workshop, you can explore litter and waste, using data to reflect on its impact on the environment, human rights, and heritage. Think before you throw – your actions can make a difference.

Climate change and heritage workshop
In this workshop, you can explore ecosystems, food chains, and how creatures like bees and gulls support environmental balance. You’ll learn Gaelic names for local plants and animals, and how communities can support biodiversity through schemes like Beautiful Scotland.

Sa bhùth-obrach seo, faodaidh tu sgrùdadh a dhèanamh air tùs is brìgh ainmean-àite Gàidhlig, agus mar a tha iad a’ nochdadh cruth-tìre is dualchas na h-Alba. Ionnsaichidh tu faclan mar Dùn, Cill, agus Inbhir, agus cruthaichidh tu mapa le ainmean ùr stèidhichte air feartan na tìre.
Gaelic Place-Names Workshop
In this workshop, you can explore the origins and meanings of Gaelic place names, and how they reflect Scotland’s landscape and heritage. You’ll learn words like Dùn, Cill, and Inbhir, and create your own map with new names inspired by the land.
