Friends of Balgay

The FoB are a small community group that Promote Greater Balgay: a large green space comprising Balgay hill with the Mills Observatory; the green space with tennis courts and play park, which is Victoria park and Balgay cemetery. The Friends look after the plantings in the historic Rose window the plantings in the Bandstand and maintain the 3 planters in cemetery walk. They liaise with Dundee City Council environment team regarding any areas requiring attention to improve the public’s enjoyment of this well-loved Dundee park.
