CLEAR Buckhaven & Methil

CLEAR (Community-Led Action for Regeneration) is a small independent charity operating in Buckhaven and Methil since 2012, aiming to improve the local environment, and engage local people contributing to regeneration and practical climate action. CLEAR carries out extensive planting-growing year-round (orchards, woodland, bulbs, flowers), runs two vibrant community gardens, makes landscape/greenspace site improvements (parks, paths, heritage, art) seeking small-scale transformative impact and positive community placemaking. They produce their own food, run bike and wood workshops, hold open days and learning events. CLEAR relies on local volunteers (50-60), works with schools, other local groups, and is guided by a small part-time staff team.
