University of Glasgow Dumfries Garden
The Dumfries Campus community garden is a vibrant hub for learning, sustainability, and connection. Weekly sessions welcome students and local residents to plant, grow food, forage, and enjoy nature together. Seasonal highlights like spring blooms and first harvests mark the garden’s rhythm, celebrating the cycles of the year. The space also hosts creative community events that encourage engagement and fun. Alongside hands-on gardening, participants explore topics like botany, pollinators, and environmental stewardship. Led by staff volunteers and students, the garden fosters wellbeing and environmental awareness creating a shared green space at the heart of the University of Glasgow’s Dumfries Campus.
