Sustainable Kirriemuir

A grass-roots organisation formed by a group of local people, in August 2019, who wanted to take positive community climate action. They have grown from a small seedling to a growing sapling with ambitious plans, and became a registered charity in August 2023. Their vision is for Kirriemuir to be a sustainable net-zero community where people and nature flourish. They focus on four key themes: Food & Growing, Active Travel, Action for Nature and Sustainable Living.
