St Machar Community Biodiversity Group

An outreach community gardening group headed by St Machar's Cathedral to manage the kirkyard for nature. Planting native and garden species to enhance the cover and food supply for wildlife and make the area more attractive to visitors too. A steering group works in partnership with Aberdeen City Council to manage the grass for diversity, with areas left long for the season and others cut short.
