Placewoodland Kilbirnie

The group looks after a privately owned woodland close to Kilbirnie in North Ayrshire. With the landowner's permission, they maintain the paths and improve the biodiversity, and provide the community with a calm and healthy space to enjoy nature, its plants and animals. They encourage those who have found themselves at a loose end to engage with nature and join their community in the woods, filled with friendship and a bit of hard work. With laughter, a mug of tea and a biscuit. all ages are welcome to hang out with them.
