Newtongrange Community Garden

It began as a derelict brownfield site in February 2023, but today, it stands as a haven for wildlife, nature, and people, and showcases nature-friendly gardening. The Garden is an inclusive space, accessible to all and has become a remarkable outdoor environment for learning, growing, and connecting with nature. The garden plays a significant role in combating mental health challenges, addressing climate concerns, and reducing food poverty, with most of these benefits available free of charge. They owe this success to the volunteers of Newtongrange, whose hard work and passion have created a space they truly love.
