Love Thornwood-Thornwood Community Green

Love Thornwood, over the past 3 years, has been looking to take over a disused football pitch at the local school and turn it into community green-space. They have set up a charity called Thornwood Community Green and are in the process of talks, with the local authority, to bring the grounds into community use in an area where there is very little for the young and elderly to do.
