Let’s get Grangemouth clean ✨gLitter✨ Team - 2025 UK finalist

In 2025, Let’s get Grangemouth clean ✨gLitter✨ Team was one of three of our Beautiful Scotland groups representing Scotland in the RHS Britain in Bloom UK-wide finals. Not only were they recognised with a Gold medal certificate, the group were crowned the best in the 'Large Town' category and were recognised with a Judges' Highlight award for their amazing community spirit - huge congratulations to everyone involved across the town!!! The ✨glitter✨ team work continuously throughout the year, litterpicking, street cleaning and gardening around the whole of Grangemouth to improve the look of their lovely town, to engage the residents and make it a nicer place to live for everyone.

They promote recycling and proper use of council bins, and encourage people to keep their areas clean. They spend time sweeping, scraping and clearing the roads and around the shops and lovely old buildings in town to show them at their best.

They have created beautiful flowerbeds, sponsored by individuals and local businesses, and try to do that with a sense of humour and sensitivity.
