Edinburgh Inspiring Capital is a partnership between Edinburgh City Council, Royal Caledonian Horticultural Society - The Caley, The Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh showcasing the work these and other stakeholders, many of them volunteers, do to conserve and enhance the natural environment of Scotland's capital city.
They aim to build on the success of last year's entry into Beautiful Scotland. They’re proud of the fact that the City of Edinburgh has a plethora of parks and greenspaces, with examples of significant community involvement initiatives. They aim to show a range of different elements from across the City. A challenge in itself for a large and extremely busy city.
In 2025, as well as the above awards, the City of Edinburgh Council won the Beautiful Scotland discretionary award - the Wright Susustainability Award.
