Holytown Environmental Group

A small group which formed in 2024. They have approximately 12 regular volunteers who carry out regular litter picks in the village. The group cares for the local community garden and memorial garden. The volunteers have planted Spring flowering bulbs and installed planters throughout the village. They spearheaded an initiative to erect a fence displaying historic Holytown photographs to screen an unsightly piece of land in the Main Street, and monitor and report instances of graffiti and uncared for public areas to the appropriate authorities.
