Hillwood Community Trust

The Trust has a small group of volunteers and members who meet once per week to maintain and develop the surrounding grounds of the Football Park area. They have installed handmade raised beds, planted annuals and perennials, as well as upcycling and installing old tyres into beautiful planters They have been awarded 30 trees from The Woodland Trust, and will plant these in collaboration with the local college horticultural department students, which will be used to form a "wall" of shelter for spectators as well as to encourage wildlife to the area.
