Growing Together - Enable Fortune Works

At Fortune Works they have several growing and community projects on the go! They maintain their Growchapel community allotment plot and communal areas, providing food for their diner; their garden centre acts as a learning hub for local schools and nurseries, and they are responsible for maintaining areas of the local park. Recently they completed a contract for a local housing association to create growing spaces for residential areas in the community. They maintain areas of the local park and involve the community in litter picks. Their Green Team have been working alongside TCV on a weekly basis to plant trees nearby.

In 2023, Growing Together were 2nd place in the NatureScot It's Your Neighbourhood Pollinator Friendly Award, and received Certificates of Recognition in the Keep Scotland Beautiful Involving Children and Young People Award and the Parks & Green Spaces Award.
