Growing Kirkcaldy

Growing Kirkcaldy supports all community groups working in the town to improve the environment.

In 2025, Growing Kirkcaldy was one of three of our Beautiful Scotland groups representing Scotland in the RHS Britain in Bloom UK-wide finals. The group was recognised with a Gold medal certificate, their first at the UK level - huge congratulations to everyone involved!!! Find out all of the results.

In 2022, the group won the Beautiful Scotland discretionary award - the VisitScotland Award for Tourism: Tourism is up and coming in Kirkcaldy. It has a long, rich history going back centuries, and, with the hard work and efforts of Growing Kirkcaldy, the whole community are progressing with rebranding and promoting their town, including big plans to celebrate the 300^th anniversary of Adam Smith's birth in 2023. Along with this, they are being aware and active in encouraging a 21^st century approach to promoting the town as a tourist destination.

In 2019, Growing Kirkcaldy was awarded a Silver Gilt medal in the RHS Britain in Bloom finals.
