Grow Uddingston

In 2024, Grow Uddingston was awarded the Beautiful Scotland Jim Murdie Trophy for Sustainability - for their tree planting project.

The group’s volunteers work to maintain and improve the local environment around Uddingston for the benefit of residents, visitors and businesses, including floral displays along the Main Street, Railway Station and The Uddingston Gateway, as well as organising litter picks, tree planting and graffiti removal. Their work is divided into sub groups, so volunteers can choose their area of interest and how much volunteering they wish to contribute.
