Gairn Community Garden

Gairn Community Garden is a community-led project transforming a previously derelict site into a welcoming green space for local people. Over the last year they’ve built raised beds, a polytunnel, sheds, paths and fencing, creating a safe and productive environment for growing, learning and social connection. They’ve also hosted two One Seed Forward courses and welcomed regular weekly visits from Duthie Park Nursery. The garden has encouraged local volunteering, improved wellbeing, and brought people together across the community while turning an unused area into a valued local asset.
