Friends of Granton Castle Walled Garden

Granton Castle Walled Garden is a historic green space which welcomes visitors and volunteers. It provides an attractive peaceful area which benefits mental and physical wellbeing. There is an orchard and a kitchen garden, and a Forest Garden is being developed. Workshops on flower arranging and wreath making are run by the flower farmers whilst workshops on mushrooms are organised by the mushroom growers. Wild flowers attractive to pollinators are sown regularly. Whilst fruit and vegetables are grown and provided to visitors, volunteers and community hubs, the group also works towards increasing biodiversity.
