Friends of Fonab and Dysart Cemeteries

The group was set up in 2024 with the objective of working together to improve the Perth and Kinross Council owned cemeteries in Pitlochry - Dysart and Fonab. Since its launch, they have raised grant funding allowing them to purchase a ride on lawn mower, a secure container unit, as well as naturalising Fonab Cemetery woodland area by virtue of the Nature Restoration Fund, planting thousands of bulbs, plants and over 60 native trees. They have further plans for the area to include an improved entrance area and improving surrounding woodland by selective thinning and replanting.
