Friends of Balgay

A small community group who work to promote Balgay Park. They undertake gardening projects at the historic Rose Window and the Bandstand. The group hold community litter picks and liaise with the council’s Environment Dept to highlight improvements that might be made within the park. They hold talks for their members twice a year, and try to ensure that Balgay remains a lovely green space for the local community and beyond.
