Beith Community Food Garden

A community allotment project established in 2023, originally showing people how to grow fruit and vegetables, and growing produce for community centre cafe and larder. Now they are reaching out and expanding towards teaching and sharing ideas about nature conservation, tree planting, wildflower meadow making and creating therapeutic garden projects such as their new Sensory herb garden in progress this year. They have created some lovely social spaces in nature. The group are now looking after most of the grounds around Beith community centre and doing their best to make the town centre look beautiful.
