Baillieston Community Garden

The group has been working on the project since 2021; the garden was an overgrown Council site and, in conjunction with one of their Councillors, while in the middle of the COVID pandemic, the garden provided the opportunity to reduce social isolation for local people but at a safe distance and outdoors as the restrictions were lifted. There is still a lot to do now that the pandemic is over, and the ongoing maintenance of the site is key to it becoming a feature of the Baillieston area of Glasgow.
