Ardoch in Bloom

Ardoch in Bloom brings together volunteers from Braco and Greenloaning to brighten up the villages with colourful planting and well-cared-for green spaces. They use a mix of plants to create sustainable displays that return each year and support local wildlife. They also carry out regular litter picks, install bird boxes, and help protect red squirrels by controlling the grey squirrel population. The group work closely with the local school and community groups to involve young people and promote environmental awareness. Their visibility is growing through events like the Braco Show, and their work is recognised in the Community Action Plan.
