The Wee Haven

The Wee Haven Community Garden is a welcoming space where local people can connect, learn and grow together. Based at Hays Community Hub, the garden brings people of all ages together to improve wellbeing, reduce isolation and build practical skills through gardening. Volunteers help grow fresh fruit, vegetables and herbs, with much of the produce supporting Hays Pantry and local families. The project also promotes biodiversity by creating habitats for wildlife and encouraging sustainable gardening practices. Through workshops, volunteering and community events, The Wee Haven is growing more than food.
