Friends of Sunnybank Park

Sunnybank is a community park at the heart of Sunnybank, Froghall, Powis and Old Aberdeen. Formerly a bowling and outdoor sports centre, the park now includes allotments and wildlife-friendly areas and attracts diverse communities including students, dog walkers and local families. Facilities include basketball; football; calisthenics; and a graffiti wall. The core area is maintained by volunteers and managed by the Friends of Sunnybank Park SCIO, a community group that formed in 2010 to save the park from developers.
