Dunoon Community Development Trust - Grow Food Grow Dunoon

Grow Food Grow Dunoon is a volunteer run shared food growing project located in the grounds of Struan Lodge Residential & Daycare Service, a facility providing care for people living with dementia. A team of committed volunteers has developed and maintains a 10-bed no-dig vegetable garden alongside two polytunnels, a fruit cage, a newly planted orchard and a composting area. Produce is shared between volunteers, the care home kitchen and the community. Community sales of produce help to provide funds for seeds and supplies. The project is part of Dunoon Community Development Trust providing governance, financial management, insurance and support.
