Cistern Green Communty Wildlife Garden & Orchard

Cistern Green was the old drying green in the village of Errol. Since the early 2000s it has been gradually transformed by volunteers into a haven for wildlife and an orchard with local heritage fruit tree varieties. There are a mosaic of habitats and features. including wildflower meadows, wooded areas, living willow tunnel and den, bug houses, magnification post, bee post, bird and bat boxes, native hedges and seating for visitors to enjoy a peaceful place to sit. They are even visited by fairies!
