2026 Beautiful Scotland key dates

End January – Sunday 5 April: On-line registration open for Beautiful Scotland

Tuesday 24 February, 7-8pm - online: informal get together to outline our free support and resources, hear from groups as to why they take part and what they get up to over the year, meet some of our wonderful volunteers, and time for you to ask questions and chat to each other.

Friday 20 March: Keep Scotland Beautiful volunteer judge and assessor thank you event

Wednesday 22 April, 11-12.30pm - online: Beautiful Scotland Spring Seminar - a great opportunity to get together, get some practical guidance and advice, meet our volunteer judges and be inspired by each other.

January - end June: Mentor support available from judges

Friday 3 July: Deadline for Beautiful Scotland portfolio submission

Friday 17 July: deadline for Discretionary Award submissions, and showcase images (for use at award ceremony, website, online etc)

July, date and location TBC: Judges training day

Monday 27 July – Sunday 9 August: Beautiful Scotland judging takes place

Thursday 13 August: Judges debriefing sesion

Wednesday 19 August: Discretionary Award selection panel

Month and date TBC - online: Beautiful Scotland Celebration and Awards event and presentation of medal certificates, category and discretionary awards, and the overall Rosebowl

Month and dates TBC - virtual: Beautiful Scotland judges' surgeries - the opportunity to chat through your group's mark sheet with your judges

October, date and location TBC: RHS Britain in Bloom Finals Award Ceremony

Month and date TBC - online: Climate and Nature Friendly Communities Network Annual Seminar and Celebration - includes hearing inspiring stories from our groups, top tips and advice, a celebration of all our groups achievements, and the announcement of It's Your Neighbourhood certificates, NatureScot It's Your Neighbourhood Pollinator Friendly Award winner, and winner of our theme public vote
