Rachael Pirie
Rachael joined our Campaigns and Social Innovation Team in December 2025 as a Campaigns Support Officer. She coordinates across campaigns such as Upstream Battle, Spring Clean and roadside litter, supporting behavioural change and community engagement initiatives.
Prior to joining Keep Scotland Beautiful Rachael had a career in sport & fitness as a coach and active lifestyle coordinator, delivering and developing fitness and well-being programmes, educational courses and workshops within University of Glasgow Sport. In recent years she has volunteered on various litter and waste campaigns for charities, including litter picking from her paddleboard on Scotland’s Canals.
Rachael has a BA (Hons) in Environmental Studies and working towards a Certificate in Sustainability and Environmental Management. She enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring Scotland and staying fit and active.
