Katie O'Donnell
Katie joined Keep Scotland Beautiful in 2019, initially as Heritage Manager and later Communities Manager. Her role includes supporting the planning and delivery of our portfolio of direct community engagement, along with policy and strategy development to inspire action at local and national level for Scotland’s rich and diverse built, natural and cultural heritage in the face of the climate and nature emergencies.
She directly supports the development and delivery of the Climate and Nature Friendly Communities Network and Our Heritage, Our Future. She represents Keep Scotland Beautiful on external working groups including Improving Access to Heritage, Place and Wellbeing Alliance and Scotland’s Landscape Alliance.
Katie has worked in Scotland’s third sector for over 20 years in project development, fundraising and grant management roles for a range of charities.
