Nicola Davidson
Nicola works in the Education team as an Education and Learning Officer, helping to deliver a variety of projects, including Eco-Schools, LEAF and Live Lessons. Her interests include the conservation and restoration of natural ecosystems and how this can be achieved alongside sustainable food production. Nicola is also interested in the positive side of climate change action, such as improvements to health and wellbeing through increased access to green spaces and nature.
Before joining Keep Scotland Beautiful, Nicola worked as a lecturer in veterinary nursing, having worked as a veterinary surgeon for several years in practice.
Nicola has a PhD from the University of Liverpool in Animal Behaviour, working on ways to protect non-target wildlife from rat poisons. She has a degree in Veterinary Medicine from Glasgow University and two Masters, one from Manchester University in Parasitology and one from the University of Liverpool in Animal Behaviour.
