Kirsty joined Keep Scotland Beautiful as a Project Support Officer for Our Heritage, Our Future, in June 2025. She will be establishing project reporting and evaluation systems, managing project communications, and supporting the delivery of project activities with communities.

Prior to joining us Kirsty obtained a BSc (Hons) in Behavioural Biology from the University of St Andrews and a MSc in Museum Education from the University of Glasgow. She is studying a SCQF Level 9 module in Project Management at Robert Gordon University in 2025.

She began her career through an internship and subsequent employment in the Discovery and Learning team at Edinburgh Zoo. During the pandemic, she moved into media production, focusing initially on educational resources, and later, interpretation and exhibits. Her latest role was developing the visitor experience for the proposed Eden Project destinations in Morecambe and Dundee.

Kirsty studies Gaelic at the University of Edinburgh Centre for Open Learning and is particularly interested in intangible cultural heritage and relationship with the environment within the Gaelic speaking community.
