Emma Glencross
Emma is Senior Campaigns Officer in the Campaigns and Social Innovations Team. She works on a range of projects that aim to reduce litter and waste in Scotland, including implementation of litter actions linked to the National Litter and Flytipping Strategy, Upstream Battle and Cup Movement, promoting reuse and recycling to reduce the number of single-use cups being used and encourage recycling of those cups that are used.
Emma joined Keep Scotland Beautiful in 2021 and has worked on a number of projects including the COP26 Youth Climate Programme, My Beach Your Beach, and the Highland Cup Movement.
Before joining us, Emma worked in a range of government and education roles in Scotland and Australia, from a high school autism provision, to ten years undertaking environmental impact assessment for the Western Australian Government.
Emma has a BSc (Hons) in Zoology and Botany and a Graduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning and enjoys getting outdoors to enjoy the beautiful Scottish environment.
